Level Up strives to provide the best opportunities for young athletes to grow their game through basketball camps, skills clinics, and individual trainings, while addressing fundamentals, skill development, basketball IQ, as well as healthy lifestyle choices. Level Up operates around the State of Alaska providing community events, tournaments and other activities.
Level UP Directors
The founders and directors of Level Up are Justin Bourne and Marquis Revels. Together we have spent more than 30 years traveling across the State in order to reach youth through basketball camps, educational programs, and health discussions. Our passion is to provide a positive example of fitness while teaching life lessons through the discipline of sport. Nearly every lesson we learned growing up was either taught or reinforced through sports and coaches and we want to pass that forward with your young student athletes.
Coaches
Justin Bourne
A standout player at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 02-06, helping bring the Nanooks their most successful four years ever. After playing professionally overseas he has coached on the college level, at the high school level, on the AAU circuit and worked as a small group and individual skills trainer. Currently Justin trains kids, coaches AAU and runs a basketball league in Charlotte, NC.
Marquis Revels
A top notch player at the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 02-04, helping turn the Nanook program around. His basketball IQ and his all around skill which made him a great player are now what make him such a great coach. Marquis has spent the last 10+ seasons coaching and training kids in Anchorage/Seward area. Marquis is currently working with young athletes in Anchorage
